Beauty for Ashes: A Baroque Meditation by Gaudete Baroque Ensemble

Enter into this season of reflection with a Baroque meditation expressing both sorrow and joy.

Featuring Vivaldi’s Sinfonia al Sancto Sepulcro, as well as works by Bach, Corelli, Purcell, and Albinoni’s beautiful Sonata a Cinque in A major, the music will paint “a crown of beauty for ashes and festive praise instead of despair.” (Is. 61:3)
