Rebecca Romo
Rebecca Romo brings more than 25 years of experience in radio, storytelling, and journalism to the mic. She began her career at a pop music station in College Station, Texas, before heading to New Orleans to work at B97 and 106.7 The End, and later to Seattle at KISW and Kiss 106.
After moving overseas, Rebecca expanded her focus to journalism, earning a master’s degree in Radio Production. She went on to work as a producer and reporter for the BBC, covering everything from major music festivals to the Olympic Games, and later joined WGBH/NPR as an Education Reporter.
A love story eventually brought her to Cape Cod, where she proudly became a “washashore.” She lives in Barnstable Village with her husband and their three young children. Deeply passionate about early childhood education and accessibility for individuals with diverse needs, Rebecca recently earned her Director’s Certification and now works at a local early education center.
When she’s not on the air or in the classroom, you’ll likely find her out on a boat in the summer, finding creative ways to keep her kids busy in the winter, browsing thrift shops, enjoying a great book, or listening to anything and everything by Taylor Swift.
